When I’m alone,

I think of you.

I think of your eyes, your laugh, your smile.

I want to climb into your arms,

like a child afraid of a storm,

like a lamb that runs to it’s mother for shelter,

I want to hold onto you,

like an insect that clings to the leaf in the wind,

like a tree that roots itself deep into the ground,

I want to look to you,

like the flowers reach their leaves up to the sun,

like the way the moon chases the sun, day after day,

night after night;

But most of all, I want to love you like nothing else in this world.
